The Earlbeck Technical Center provides accelerated courses for welding. Our course can be completed much faster than a typical welding program because we focus strictly on building the skills required to be an employment ready welder. The length of our program depends on the level of training you would like to complete as well as your choice between daytime or evening classes.
Daytime fundamentals classes take 2 weeks to complete and then each additional class will take 3-4 weeks. If you are aiming for a career in welding, we recommend taking a minimum of 3 classes. Of course, with any trade, the more training you receive, the better you are positioned within the job market, so if you're aiming to complete all the classes, it would take you about 6-8 months. 10. what should i bring for my first day of class
You should show up to class prepared to be in a welding shop environment. This means work shoes or boots, jeans or work pants and a flame retardant or cotton shirt for your safety.
For Fundamentals we'll provide you with student workbooks and a starter kit of welding safety equipment (including an auto-darkening welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses and a welding jacket) which is yours to keep. For Intermediate & Advanced classes please bring your welding workbooks, and welding gear that were provided in your Fundamentals course. This includes welding helmet, gloves, welding jacket, and safety glasses. 11. where can i find info about weather related closures or delays?
