How To Apply Today
AWS makes applying a breeze- it's just one application and they show you which scholarships you qualify for! To apply for these scholarships before the March 1st deadline, please visit the AWS website.

You'll begin by creating an academic profile and providing information about your school, personal goals and objectives. Based on this information and your geographic location, AWS will show you what you are eligible to apply for. Depending on the specific scholarship you may be prompted to respond to essay questions covering topics such as personal statements, relevant work experience, and career goals. They may also ask for letters of recommendation, transcripts, or a breakdown of your educational costs.

After you complete the profile and add in any additional requirements they request, you've applied! It's a simple process with big rewards that will help you on your journey to where you need to be as a welder!

Pro Tip: For certain scholarships AWS requires that applicants that are AWS members, and often sleection committees prioritizes AWS members. The good news is that if you're not a member, it's easy to become one and if you're a student then your membership is FREE!
If you are currently enrolled, or will soon enroll, in a welding program or a related field,
then consider applying for one of these scholarships. An AWS scholarship can be the extra
push that helps you fulfill your goals!
