One of our favorite things about Fronius is that they are always striving for advancements in welding technology that benefit the end user. Whether it be the ability to fine tune settings for experienced welders or give a helping hand to novice ones, they are always optimizing based on user feedback.

The DynamicWire is a great example of this and represents a significant leap in TIG cold wire welding technology! This system intelligently adjusts the wire speed of the filler metal automatically to match the welding conditions, enhancing quality and efficiency with every weld. The  DynamicWire's capacity to adapt to varying conditions means that it not only improves weld quality but also makes the welding process more forgiving for those less familiar with the nuances of TIG welding.

KEY FEATURES

We were thrilled to be featured in a recent Fox43 segment, "Tyler Tries It: Being a Welder”, where reporter Tyler Hatfield stopped by our Technical Center in York, PA to dive headfirst into the intricate world of welding! As advocates for the welding trade and educators in the craft, we were happy to share our passion and knowledge with Tyler and the community through Fox43’s lens.
Picture
The focus of Tyler's visit was to delve into a trade that, while often operating behind the scenes, plays a vital role in shaping the infrastructure and technology surrounding us. With the American Welding Society projecting a shortage of around 360,000 welders by 2027, now is the time to highlight the pressing need for skilled professionals in the field.

Tyler learned about the various welding processes we teach here at Earlbeck and then under the watchful eye of our PA Regional Sales Manager, John Ciurlino, he suited up with proper PPE and was able to try his hand at performing a fillet weld!
This hands-on attempt underscores a powerful message: with practice and determination, anyone can spark a career in welding. We find that individuals with a strong work ethic, who are visual learners, and seek a career outside the confines of a traditional office, make great candidates for a rewarding and fulfilling career in welding! It’s a profession for those who desire to build and create, to see tangible results from their efforts, and to take pride in their workmanship.

We thank Fox43 News for the unique opportunity to spotlight the coming critical need for welders in south-central PA and across the country. We are passionate about educating the next generation of welders, offering them the tools, knowledge, and inspiration to pursue a career in this essential and rewarding field.

Empowering Women in Manufacturing

1/25/2024

Picture
In a celebration of empowerment and skill-building, an outstanding group of women in manufacturing recently gathered for Welding & Wine Night. In partnership with Women In Manufacturing Central PA Chapter and the Manufacturer’s Association, this evening combined the camaraderie of networking with the hands-on experience of welding! Providing opportunity for these professional women to connect, learn, and empower each other in a relaxed and supportive environment!
Picture
Events like these aim to break down barriers and create a space for women to come together to connect with their peer group in an industry where women represent only 29% of the current manufacturing workforce. Earlbeck's own staff features many competent women, so we know the importance of fostering a community of like-minded individuals and encouraging women to join and stay in this industry!
This night also offered a chance for participants to dive into the world of welding – attendees had the opportunity to learn and refine their welding abilities in a setting surrounded by other women who share their passion for manufacturing!

They not only gained practical skills but also formed meaningful connections with their peers- emphasizing the importance of collaboration and solidarity among women in the manufacturing sector. We love to see women support and uplift each other in their professional journeys!
Picture
There is a wealth of incredible talent and achievement among the women in manufacturing- proving that when given the chance, they can and will excel!

We look forward to more events like this in the future and hope this serves as a reminder that by creating spaces that encourage collaboration and skill development, we can pave the way for a more inclusive and diverse future for all of us! Here's to breaking barriers, forging connections, and sparking empowerment in the world of women in manufacturing!
