Fronius isn’t just another equipment manufacturer. They’re one of the world’s technology leaders in welding, holding over 1,000 active patents and consistently setting the pace for innovation.

They’ve long been our go-to recommendation for welding tech enthusiasts, and for good reason- their machines are some of our absolute favorites. In fact, you can find them running every day in the booths at our Technical Centers.

That’s why we’re especially excited to share that Fronius has just launched their newest line: the Fortis Series!

This range was designed with small and medium-sized businesses in mind, offering versatile solutions that combine the robust technology and intuitive operation you expect from Fronius with maximum connectivity. The Fortis is already setting a new standard in the metalworking industry.
The Fortis series includes powerful devices in the 270 to 500 A categories. You can choose the compact all-in-one system or a split version with an external wirefeeder for a wider operating range. All of the models in this new line-up can be equipped with classic Fronius functions like pulse welding, SynchroPulse, stitch welding, TAC tacking function, HotStart, and anti-stick.

It also includes the Fortis XT and the Fortis Duo! The Fortis XT is an energy-efficient all-rounder for three-phase mains voltages from 200 to 600 V and single-phase operation up to max. 320 A including CEL mode.

While the Fortis Duo combines a compact device with an extra external wirefeeder. This means that you can use of TWO wire spools and TWO welding torches with just ONE single machine. Save time and energy by easily swapping between materials or diameters with the touch of a button. Avoid retooling and make tackling frequently changing tasks in contract manufacturing, steel construction, or assembly a breeze.
