For over 100 years, we've helped welders—both professionals and students—achieve excellence by providing them with the best equipment in the industry. But as a welding supply company AND a welding technical school, we believe that quality welding comes from practice and skill- and while you can’t buy experience, you can invest in tools that set you up for success from the very beginning! Welding can present many challenges, from start to finish, and these are a few  products that we think offer unique solutions!

So whether you’re just starting your career or a seasoned professional just looking for ways to make the job go smoother, here are a few things we’ve come across that really help!

MAGNET SQUARES

Picture
Magnet squares are an easy way to hold metal pieces in place during welding- making it easier to achieve precise angles without needing additional clamps or tools! They are especially useful for tacking, setting up frames, and ensuring stability during welding projects. Get versatility and convenience, with reduced setup time and guaranteed accuracy- a must-have tool for precision welding!

Strong Hand Tools Adjust-O Magnet Square: If you're looking for one of the most innovative and durable magnet squares on the market, we'd recommend this one. Ideal for round and square tubing, angle, and flat stock. This magnet square is easy to clean and offers adjustable angles at 30°/ 60°, 45°, and 90° with a firm, reliable hold. With the flip of a switch, you can turn the magnet Off or at the mid-point position to setting up your fixture and then simply turn it on when you’re ready to work.

Strong Hand Tools Multi-Angle Magnet Square: If you're looking for a budget friendly option that still gets the job done, check out this one. It still easily holds your workpiece at multiple angles (30º/60º, 45º, and 90º) while soldering, brazing, and welding. Featuring a center hole for easy handling, its also aluminum enclosed which makes cleaning a breeze.

TWO HOLE PINS

Flange Wizard Two-Hole Pins: Designed with precision and efficiency in mind, these two-hole pins from Flange Wizard allow you to accurately align flanges and reduce setup time significantly. Aligning materials correctly from the outset minimizes the need for rework and corrections, saving time and resources. Achieve perfect alignment quickly, and ensure that your projects start on the right track with these two great options!

They offer both a threaded and a magnetic options. Their threaded pins provide a reliable reference point, allowing you to maintain a consistent gap between the two pieces being joined. Made with double lead threads for faster and more secure set-up, they are versatile and come in various sizes!

While the threaded two-hole pins will help you align flanges and base plates on pipe and stanchions of all kinds, the new magnetic pins really make it a snap! Just place in flange holes and the nuts and pins bond together immediately with magnetic speed!

WELDER'S GEARPACK

Revco BSX Extreme Welder Gear Pack: This bag was designed with welders in mind. It includes tons of storage with convenient accessory and tool pockets, but the quick-release padded HelmetCatch is what really makes it stand out. Protect and transport your helmet with ease, and when it's time to work, it's a just simple snap! You can carry it by the rivet-reinforced top handle with a rubberized grip or comfortably wear as backpack with the padded ergonomic straps. Take your welding kit on the go with this sturdy dependable gear pack!

ANTI-SPATTER SPRAY

Picture
Whale Spray's Anti-Spatter Spray: This non-flammable anti-spatter spray provides a safe, fast, easy, and economical way to prevent spatter from adhering to surfaces and nozzles. It works great in a variety of applications including 100% of all manual, semi-automatic, robotic, laser and plasma welding processes. It sprays on blue so you have a great view of where it's been applied. It's also silicone free so it won't interfere with future painting plans. Plus, it's biodegradable, affordable, and it also contains powerful and effective corrosion inhibitors which help to protect treated surfaces and equipment.

Black Stallion FlakFinger Adjustable Welding Heat Shield: TIG welder’s all know that hand protection can be tricky sometimes. You need to be able to have dexterity and control in your fingers but you also don’t want to be too close to the heat for too long or they’ll burn. The solution is this FlakFinger- a heat-shielding sleeve that keeps your fingers cool and comfortable while you do your best work! A convenient leather strap keeps it secure throughout welding and the design allows for one or two finger protection. While it works great for TIG welding, you can also use it with MIG and Stick gloves for added protection when propping and shielding!

REMOTE AMPERAGE CONTROLS

Remote Amerpage Control CK Worldwide Must Have Welding Accessories
CK Worldwide Stick & TIG Welding Remote Amperage Controls: You're probably familiar with the concept of using a foot pedal for welding, but sometimes it's simply not practical to use one- like say if you need to weld something while standing on a ladder or laying under a car.

These remote amperage control devices basically work just like the foot pedal, but the control is all in your torch hand! There's three design solutions that give you full control based on the presets on your machine, so it's easy to find a model that matches your workflow- the linear version allows you to slide up and down smoothly.  While the rotary version is more like the tracks on a tank, it can be held from either side and comes with three different faceplates allow you to customize if you want right, left, or both side control.  The third option is the wheel amperage control, this allows for probably the closest and most precise adjusting when welding.

They offer 14 pin, 6 pin, and 5 pin set ups and are made to order so you'll get exactly what you need for your machine!
We firmly believe that the right tools can make all the difference in a welder’s success, and we want to see you succeed! So stop by one of our showrooms in Maryland or Pennsylvania or reach out today to see what fun welding tools and accessories we have in stock!

Set yourself up with the right tools,
and you’ll be ready to tackle any job with confidence!
