News! The Earlbeck Technical Center was recently featured by WBAL for our welding school's involvement in retraining former RG Steel employees. Welders are retiring just as the demand for their skills is picking up. There were 337,300 jobs for welders, cutters, solderers and brass workers in 2010, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. By 2020 that number is expected to have grown 15%.

Need welder training or certification? We are Maryland's only American Welding Society Accredited Test Facility and we operate Maryland's oldest and most advanced welder training and testing facility. Our individual welder training is done in partnership with Anne Arundel Community College. Individual training will not be available in PA.
