But for those testing to AWS D1.1 - Structural Welding Code, we have complete test kits available for immediate purchase! These convenient kits include test coupons, backing bars, practice coupons, a guide, and a test data form! They’re available in either Limited or Unlimited thickness in 1 or 2 positions, in the SMAW or FCAW process.
To conduct a test using one of our test kits:
1. Purchase an AWS D1.1 kit below 2. Follow an approved Welding Procedure Specification* and perform the welding to code 3. Completely fill out the corresponding form 4. Send completed test coupon and form to us 5. If your test passes, we will mail you your test results within 5-7 business days.

*AWS D1.1 weld test requires that a welder follows an approved WPS when completing the test and that a company has its own WPS for production work. Four Prequalified WPS’s are included for use and valid for this testing only. They cannot be used by you for production work. If you do not have a valid production WPS and would like us to help you prepare one, please contact our Engineering Department.
