Weld Engineering

Weld Test Specimen
Earlbeck’s team of Welding Engineers can provide you with technical assistance on any welding question or issue.  If you do not have a welding engineer on staff, we can review your process to ensure compliance, analyze weld failure, and assist with designing a welding procedure. We can also provide support for your current welding engineer on complex jobs that require more attention. If you'd like to have your own weld examiners for field operations, we can train and manage your team.

We have AWS Senior Certified Welding Inspectors (SCWI), AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI), and welding engineers on staff. We have proven our capabilities for clients both large and small. When manufacturers in the MD & PA region need help optimizing their welding process, they call Earlbeck Gases & Technologies.

Engineering Capabilities

To optimize your welding process, we can:
  • Review your welding operations for process improvement and added productivity.
  • Analyze a weld failure and provide insight to eliminate the problem.
  • Design a welding procedure for that difficult metal or for a weld repair.
  • Review your job specifications and drawings and assist you with compliance.
  • Train and manage your weld examiners for field operations, as well as provide inspection management.
