“I just wanted to take a few minutes and pass on some comments pertaining to Earlbeck. Since becoming Facilities Manager 5 years ago, I’ve see both sides of service. Some companies talk the talk, but when it comes down to it, they don’t follow through. The same cannot be said about Earlbeck. From my first few months of dealing with Joe Vincent to the transition to Brant and most recently dealing a lot with Wilbur, (laser gases) I have been treated with absolute top notch service. Between Brant and Wilbur, they pretty much have handled our laser gas situation and made it much easier for me to deal with. To be blunt, they are what made it happen for us.
Over the last 4 years or so I have developed a great relationship with Brant. He has always gone the extra mile for us. I know in sales that’s how it’s supposed to be, but it should not go unnoticed. Like I said, many people talk it, Brant has done it. Recently, the same can be said for Wilbur. He has gone so far as to call me after hours to make sure I got my gas order in. Several times, if not for him calling, I would have not placed the order which would have resulted in the laser being down. Earlbeck Customer Story – Bill Herbert, Owner of Quality Erectors
Bill Herbert owns Quality Erectors and was working to grow his fabrication and erection company but was struggling to keep his labor force trained and his machines consistently running. Bill was frequently sending machines out of state to be repaired, causing down time. Bill was also not up to speed on the latest welding technology and training. Bill was experiencing poor service and support from his gas supplier, and was wasting time reconciling invoices and overpaying for gas tanks. He was working long hours but not getting the results he needed.
Bill knew he had to improve efficiency, training and technology to get the results he was looking for. I met Bill and asked him how Earlbeck could help him. Bill wanted to do an audit on his gas tanks as well build a better plan to service his equipment and train his welders to improve their productivity. He was also looking for technology that could give him an edge vs the competition. We worked with Bill to identify ways to streamline his gas supply while improving service, reducing cost and saving time. Bill and his account manager put a plan together to leverage Earlbeck to train his welders as well as service his equipment on site. Earlbeck helped Bill find a better solution for their welding process including switching to gas shield flux core wire. Bill needed more flexibility on job sites, and identified a solution with AccuPocket battery powered portable welders, which he now has on all of his trucks.
