Our Policies

Return Policy

Earlbeck Gases & Technologies is committed to providing quality products and excellent customer service. Our return policy is designed to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase.

Please inspect all contents of your order immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies, including missing, damaged, or incorrect items, must be reported within 15 days of delivery. Reports made after this period may not be eligible for replacement or credit.

Standard Items
We offer a 30-day refund policy on all standard stocked items, provided they are returned unused in their original packaging.  The following conditions apply:
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase, or will be subject to a restocking fee. 
  • Items must be in their original, unused, and resalable condition.

Special Orders
A special order may be returned at the sole discretion of Earlbeck Gases. Applicable restock and return freight charges will apply. Please contact customer service for more details.

Cylinder Gases
Earlbeck Gases are non-refundable if returned. 

Return Process
To initiate a return, please call our customer service at 410-687-8400 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns without an RMA will not be accepted. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund.

Welder Training
Tuition, fees, and refund policies for welder training classes in Pennsylvania are set and administered by Johnson College. Please refer to Johnson College’s official registration materials for full details.

Tuition, fees, and refund policies for welder training classes in Maryland offered through AACC or CCBC are set and administered by each respective college partner. Please refer to their official registration materials for full details.

Service Repair Policy
Earlbeck Gases operates on a fee-for-service basis. The minimum charge for any work performed, including estimates, will be based on a one-hour minimum labor charge.

​Deposit Requirement
Customers who do not have open accounts with Earlbeck Gases must provide a deposit equal to the one-hour minimum charge as a prerequisite for initiating diagnostic or estimate services. This deposit is non-refundable should the Customer decide not to proceed with the recommended repairs post-estimate.

Completion of Services and Collection of Equipment
Upon completion of the repairs or the provision of an estimate, Earlbeck Gases will notify the Customer that the Equipment is available for pickup. The Customer must pick up or arrange for the delivery of the Equipment within thirty (30) days of such notification. Should the Equipment remain uncollected after the expiration of the aforementioned period, the equipment will be considered abandoned. Earlbeck Gases has the right to dispose of or retain the Equipment as it deems appropriate.

Limitation of Liability: Earlbeck Gases is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions of the Equipment that are not detected during the estimate or repair process. Further, Earlbeck Gases disclaims any liability for loss or damage to the Equipment arising from services performed under the repair authorization, except as provided by law.
Drop Ship Freight Policy
All complete or partial orders that are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer to the end user’s location are subject to applicable freight charges. Customers may request an estimated freight quote at the time of order. Final charges will be based on the manufacturer’s invoice and may differ from the estimate.​

Privacy Policy
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site which is used to
 process orders, provide customer service, and improve our website experience. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties, except when required by law.

Security Policy
We utilize secure payment gateways to process transactions. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. SSL encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. 


We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

*Training Compliance Notice
Pennsylvania:
All welding courses offered in Pennsylvania are Johnson College Continuing Education programs delivered at Earlbeck’s York, PA facility under Johnson College’s licensure and academic oversight. Johnson College manages registration, tuition, refunds, and student records for Pennsylvania programs.


Maryland:
In Maryland, welding classes are offered to the public through Earlbeck’s instructional partnerships with Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) and Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). These programs are administered through the respective colleges, which oversee enrollment, academic standards, and student records.

Intermediate and Advanced welding classes offered through our college partnerships include certification testing as part of the course. Students must pass all required tests in accordance with AWS and ASME code standards to earn welder certification.
