Spending over 10 years in development, the technology in the new Hypertherm Powermax SYNC will change the way you work and cut.

With simpler operation, smarter systems, and the same quality you know and love from a Hypertherm unit, here’s everything you need to know about this cutting-edge plasma cutter.

What's New?

HYPERTHERM CARTRIDGE READER APP

You can now download an app directly to your phone that shows you the productivity, cutting statistics, and end-of-life information for each individual consumable. The app is called Hypertherm Cartridge Reader and is available for any smartphone. Now you can access cartridge data right from the palm of your hand!

SINGLE-PIECE CARTRIDGE CONSUMABLE

Instead of the traditional five-piece stack-up, the Hypertherm Powermax SYNC has a simple one-piece consumable allowing you to maximize your time getting the job done. The single-piece cartridges are available in Hand, Mechanized, Gouging, and Flush Cut processes. All are color-coded for easy identification. No more wasting time changing your cartridges!

SmartSYNC™ TORCHES

Using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, the SmartSYNC
™ torches automatically set up the correct amperage and operating mode to eliminate setup errors and ensure a consistent and reliable torch. With this feature, you no longer have to return to the power supply to make these adjustments.

What about the traditional systems?

The traditional Powermax 65, 85, and 105’s are no longer in production and are not available for purchase. All production has shifted to the new SYNC units. But have no fear, if you already have a unit and want to use the SYNC consumables, there is an adapter you can purchase to access the current systems.

How does it compare?

While comparing this system to its older companions, there are obvious additions and upgrades to note. Features include the automated process setup, a safety lock feature, and the single-piece cartridge consumable. Take a look at the chart below to see all comparisons.

Is it worth it?

If you want to spend less time changing consumables and more time cutting, the Hypertherm Powermax SYNC is a great investment. With the Hypertherm Cartlidge Reader App, you’ll be able to maximize the life of your cartridges by seeing cutting statistics and end-of-life detection. Your business production will thrive with Hypertherm Powermax SYNC.
